Thanks to your generous support, the Ryan J. McCormack Scholarship will send a child to camp Belknap in perpetuity.
CONTRIBUTE
Thanks to more than 100 families in the broader Belknap community, our fundraising goal of $50,000 was achieved in the Fall of 2019.
Now in its 6th year, “Happy Golf” continues to celebrate Ryan’s legacy by sending more kids to camp!
Purpose: To provide tuition for a boy who would otherwise not be able to attend Camp Belknap, the Ryan J. McCormack Memorial Endowed Scholarship will help a scholarship camper return to Camp Belknap for multiple summers so they can experience camp beyond his initial summer. One of Camp Belknap’s greatest strengths is the tenure of its campers and leaders.
Ryan at Belknap: Ryan was a camper at Belknap from 2002-07, a member of the Leader Corps in 2008 and a Leader in Training in 2009. During his eight years at Belknap, he made countless impacts on those he met through the kindness, compassion, and empathy he consistently demonstrated towards others. Ryan embodied the Belknap Spirit, and it is in his memory that boys in the future will have the opportunity to experience that same spirit.
